NINE
Under-Expressed
What This Expression May Be Doing for You
The Nine is connected with completion, release, integration, and the ability to recognize when an experience has reached its natural end.

When completion is under expressed, you may move on before something has been fully processed or resolved. You may detach quickly, avoid looking back, or focus on what comes next rather than spending time with what happened, what it meant, or what you need to take from the experience.

Moving forward can provide relief from emotions you would rather not revisit. But leaving something behind physically doesn't always mean you've finished with it internally. Unprocessed feelings, unresolved patterns, or lessons you haven't fully recognized can continue to influence you even when you consider the experience over.

The work of under expressed completion isn't to dwell on the past or keep something alive after it has ended. It's to give experiences enough attention to understand, process, and integrate what they have left with you—so that moving forward becomes a genuine completion rather than simply moving away.

When Moving On Becomes a Way of Avoiding What You Feel
Putting something behind you can bring relief, particularly when looking back means experiencing disappointment, grief, anger, regret, or other difficult emotions. But moving forward doesn't necessarily resolve what you haven't allowed yourself to feel or understand.

When the Experience Is Over but the Pattern Isn't
You can leave a situation behind while carrying forward the beliefs, responses, or patterns that developed within it. Looking at what an experience taught you—and what may still be influencing you—can help you move forward without simply recreating it somewhere else.
Support:
→ Working Through Patterns
When You Need to Make Sense of What Happened
Completion can involve more than accepting that something is over. Reflecting on what the experience showed you, what changed because of it, and what you want to carry forward can help you integrate it rather than simply leave it behind.

Chakra Support
Chakra meditations help clear and heal by bringing focused awareness to each energy centre. Through breath, intention, and visualization, these meditations release blockages, restore balance, and activate the natural flow of energy in the body—supporting emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being.

The following chakras may support a more balanced expression of these energies.

Root Chakra
Supports grounding and stability, helping you feel secure enough to stay present with an ending, process what has happened, and move forward from a more settled foundation.
Recommended meditation:
-
Root Chakra Energy Healing / Clearing for Safety & Abundance - Susie Hemsted (Insight Timer)
Sacral Chakra
Supports emotional awareness and processing, helping you remain with feelings long enough to understand and integrate them rather than moving away from them too quickly.
Recommended meditation:

Sacral Chakra Healing Guided Meditation and Cord Cutting – Lily Nova Starseed (YouTube)
While meditation is a wonderful way to support the chakras yourself, there may be times when you feel drawn to receive additional support. Reiki and other forms of energy healing can help restore balance and encourage the free flow of energy within these centres.

NINE
Over-Expressed
What This Expression May Be Doing for You
The Nine is connected with completion, release, integration, and the ability to recognize when an experience has reached its natural end.

When completion is over-expressed, letting go can become difficult even when something is clearly over. You may replay what happened, revisit what could have been different, hold onto old hurts or regrets, or remain emotionally connected to relationships, experiences, and versions of your life that have already ended.

Holding on can preserve a sense of connection to what was lost or keep open the possibility that something could still be understood, repaired, or resolved. Letting go can feel like accepting that the outcome cannot be changed—or that something meaningful is truly finished.

The work of over-expressed completion isn't to forget what happened or force yourself to move on before you're ready. It's to recognize when reflection has given you what it can, allow an ending to be an ending, and carry forward what the experience gave you without continuing to carry the experience itself.

When You Keep Returning to What Happened
Replaying conversations, choices, or outcomes can feel like a way of finding the understanding that will finally allow something to settle. But there can be a point where reflection stops providing anything new and keeps you connected to an experience you can no longer change.

When Letting Go Means Accepting What You Can't Change
Holding on can preserve the possibility that something might still be repaired, explained, or resolved differently. Letting go may require accepting the outcome you actually received rather than continuing to struggle with the one you wanted.
Support:
→ Fear, Control & Letting Go
When You Need to Carry the Experience Differently
Letting go doesn't require forgetting what happened or deciding that it was okay. Finding what an experience gave you, changed in you, or helped you understand can allow it to remain part of your story without remaining something you continue to live inside.
Support:
→ Finding the Blessing

When Moving Forward Depends on Something Outside of You
Something may have happened that you didn't choose and cannot change. But when moving forward becomes dependent on someone apologizing, changing, making things right, or giving you the resolution you wanted, your future can remain connected to something outside your control. Recognizing what belongs to you now can help return some of that influence to you.
